My Approach

I remember the first time I went to therapy. I sat across from my therapist in a small, clinical room painted butter yellow and pale blue. I sat on one of those blue fabric conference chairs, with a box of tissues next to me. It felt anything but comforting.

Since then, I’ve come to recognise how much more at ease I feel when I’m outdoors. Living close to nature has shown me the calming effect it can have. I began to wonder whether it might be beneficial for clients too, so I decided to bring that into my own work.

I offer therapy sessions in natural spaces. Looking at the sky, listening to birdsong, and feeling the steady rhythm of walking can create the space needed to reflect, breathe, and speak more freely.

I believe that healing doesn’t have to happen within four walls. By combining the support of therapy with the grounding presence of the natural world, I aim to offer a calm and thoughtful space where you can explore whatever is on your mind.

Sessions take place outdoors, either walking or sitting, depending on what feels right for you. I also offer sessions in a quiet garden summerhouse, an indoor space surrounded by greenery, ideal for those who prefer to stay seated while still being close to nature.

If you're looking for a therapeutic approach that meets you where you are and moves at your own pace, I’d be glad to walk alongside you.

I offer a free 20-minute initial chat so we can see if working together feels like a good fit. Just head to the 'Services' section on the website to book in a chat.

Who am I?

Hi, I’m Daisy.

My perfect kind of day? Curled up by the fire on a crisp autumn afternoon, sipping mint tea, playing card games, or tucking into a big bowl of ramen.

In my teens and twenties, I often felt lost, searching for the right therapist, someone who truly understood me.

I remember how isolating it could feel… the shame, the frustration, the exhaustion of not being heard. At times, therapy felt more like a maze than a path forward.

Eventually, I found someone I could really connect with. Through a lot of reflection and growth, something shifted. I realised I wanted to be that person for someone else; to hold space, to listen without judgement, to walk beside someone through their pain and towards their growth.

Now, becoming a therapist doesn’t just feel like a career choice for me, it feels like a calling.

In the UK, the titles “counsellor” and “therapist” are not legally protected, which means anyone can use them. That’s why I believe proper training and ethical practice are so important.

I’m currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling and have already completed a Counselling Skills course. I’m working towards becoming a registered member of the BACP. During this training period, I offer reduced-rate sessions to help make therapy more accessible while supporting my development as a student therapist.

Every journey is different. Yours is unique to you. You are the author of your story, and my role is to walk alongside you, every step of the way.
